April 20, 2008 – 1:03 pmSo what do you do a 17 hour day after traveling round trip to NYC for a comic book show? Hit the El Bar for a rock show, of course. Our friends SICU were playing one of the last truly great dive bars in the city for their record release show. Upon taking the stage, they communicated their intentions to “simplify” things and did so with a 40+ minute punk set that made me smile.
