Break Even crew members were in attendance at the Third Annual New York Comic Con this weekend. It was a long day of meeting and speaking with creators in the industry, previewing new releases and hobnobbing with celebrities.
Old releases are finding new life in our warehouse. In an effort to repurpose our overstocked CDs, we've begun measures to recycle common materials to reduce waste and space. Releases from our early days have a chance to give back by nobly stepping aside to make way for the new.
Today's the day. We received the shipment confirmation last night for the first Break Even CD release in over three years. Everyone involved is very excited and the CD will be available beginning this weekend as The Blessed play through New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The CD is available now ...
Work is progressing on the next addition to the Break Even catalog, The Blessed's "Hail to the Carrion King" Pressing is set to begin this month, and we thought we would share the cover with everyone. Enjoy.
We've done the unthinkable and added a new blog to breakeven.org in 2008. Usually, I don't have a lot to say, maybe that will change. It's so easy to use, we're even backlogging our old news entries.
Jim Weiss from Ubisunt and Pain Within is now playing with Philadelphia's The Blessed and we're happy to say we'll be bringing you their latest release in early 2008. This will be the first Break Even release in some time and will be a collaborative effort with End All Records. Can't wait.
Pat McCay from Amertume is putting the finishing touches on his latest work as The Silence Kit. We've been tangentially involved with a number of Pat's bands over the years and we'll be working together more officially for this release along with Azteca Records.
