South Jersey's Amertume delivers indie rock demonstrating the ability to find inspiraton in seemingly ignored realms of musical history. Their sound draws on the spirit, energy and sound of 1990's post-punk blended with the musical sensibility of older rock.

Amertume is an alumni member of the Break Even roster releasing their debut full length Bang in the Fall of 1998.

A very limited edition cassette released followed in 2000 featuring seven new songs.

Band members went on to form such notable acts as Cameron, Kimota42, and other emerging projects.

Kevin is currently playing bass for Philadelphia based Bleed Radio Bleed, Pat is playing as a part of The Silence Kit, and Mike is a member of Apple of Dischord.
